Yahoo! Kicks off ''Best Of'' Promotion Sponsored by Mazda; Yahoo! Encourages Community Ratings and Reviews With a Chance to Win a New Car

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--Aug. 2, 20053, 2005--Yahoo! Inc., a leading global Internet company, today kicked off the Best Of Yahoo! Sweepstakes, where users are entered for a chance to win their choice of a 2006 MAZDA5 or MX-5 Miata each time they cast a vote for their favorite establishment on bestof.yahoo.com. Now through October 4, the "Best Of" Yahoo! promotion will encourage people to find, use, share and expand knowledge about their personal favorites for categories such as restaurants, services or travel destinations.

"Through this innovative promotion, Yahoo! is empowering the consumer with information that was previously unavailable to them by allowing them to tap into Yahoo!'s huge network of community knowledge."

HOW IT WORKS

From now until the end of the promotion, consumers can enter the "Best Of" Yahoo! Sweepstakes by simply ranking and reviewing their favorite merchants and destinations in one of 50+ categories. With each entry, consumers earn a chance to win a new car and other great prizes like a vacation for two to New York, Hawaii or Los Angeles. To participate, users log on to bestof.yahoo.com where they are presented the Top Ten, which they can either vote for, or nominate an alternative. This is a great opportunity for consumers to help their favorite establishment based upon their personal experiences. Sample categories include:

-- Best Margarita

-- Best Shopping Destination

Three winners will get their choice of a 2006 MAZDA5 or a MX-5 Miata, valued at $25,000. Mazda is the official sponsor of the "Best Of" Yahoo! Sweepstakes.
