SEEKONK HOSTS NORTHEAST FOCUS MIDGETS SATURDAY

INDIANAPOLIS – Michael Sboro of Watertown, N.Y. hopes to retain his 33-point
lead in the USAC Northeast Ford Focus Midget Car Series as he leads the
field to Saturday’s scheduled 25-lap race at Seekonk (Mass.) Speedway.

Sboro has split his time between the Northeast and Carolina/Virginia regions
in an attempt to take one of the series’ championships. Sboro is a two-time
winner on the series schedule this season, having won at New York’s Oswego
Speedway and Adirondack International Speedway in Lowville.

Tussling for second are Nick Wean and Jeff Abold, the series' latest two
victors. The duo is separated by two points heading to Seekonk, which is
hosting its third USAC Ford Focus race this season.
