Wheels, Inc. Celebrates Continuing ASE Excellence for Seventh Consecutive Year
DES PLAINES, Ill., Aug. 22, 2005 -- Wheels, Inc. has received the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Blue Seal of Excellence for the seventh consecutive year for its Maintenance Assistance Program (MAP). On top of ASE's Blue Seal requirements, 18 Wheels maintenance technicians have achieved Master Technician status, of which six are Dual Master Technicians and four hold World Class status.
"For Wheels to earn this recognition for the seventh year in a row demonstrates our dedication to having qualified technicians on staff and available for our clients. Wheels reinforces this by offering advisors other training opportunities beyond ASE certification to keep their skills current," said Vince Sommer, Wheels Director of MAP and Collision.
ASE certification provides a consistent way to measure technicians' knowledge and skills, including critical thinking skills that are needed to diagnose various situations. To remain certified, ASE-certified individuals must be retested every five years.
