Land Rover Opens First West Coast Driving School In North America

CARMEL VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 19, 2005; The Auto Channel reported thatToday, Land Rover officially opens its third Land Rover Experience Driving School at the Quail Lodge Resort. The Driving School at Quail Lodge is Land Rover's first West Coast driving school location, and will accompany already-established Land Rover Driving Schools at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina and the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello, near Montreal, Canada.

Open year-round, the Land Rover Experience Driving School at Quail Lodge provides customized off-road driving lessons and adventures for all skill levels ranging from novice to advanced. Participants can experience a variety of off-road terrain behind the wheel of the Land Rover LR3, Range Rover Sport and the flagship Range Rover. Guests are accompanied by a seasoned off-road driving instructor, and all courses take place in and around the breath-taking surroundings at Quail Lodge.

Individual and group courses range from a one-hour session designed to introduce the concept of off-road driving techniques in a fun environment, to half-day and full-day programs with professional instruction by a cadre of the knowledgeable and experienced off-road Land Rover-trained driving instructors.
