18TH ANNUAL NHRA O'REILLY MID-SOUTH NATIONALS
MEMPHIS MOTORSPORTS PARK - MEMPHIS, TENN.
AUGUST 19-21, 2005*

*CORY MCCLENATHAN WOULD LIKE FIRST WIN
FOR FRAM AIRHOG TO COME AT MEMPHIS*

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (August 18, 2005) - Memphis was the site of Cory
McClenathan's first professional win. This weekend, he would like
nothing more than his first win carrying the corporate colors of FRAM, a
unit of the Honeywell Consumer Products Group, to come at the 18th
annual NHRA O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals.

In 1992, en route to McClenathan's first of 28 career wins in Top Fuel,
he defeated Connie Kalitta in the opening round, Joe Amato in the
second, Don Prudhomme in the semifinals and Michael Brotherton in the
finals. It would be to his liking to put the Carrier Boyz Racing FRAM
AirHog Top Fuel dragster in the winner's circle at Memphis Motorsports
Park, a track that holds the memory of that first victory.

"It's kind of cool to go back to Memphis Motorsports Park each year
knowing that's where I got my first win," said McClenathan. "I sure
would like to do it again if I could make it my first win with FRAM
AirHog on the side of that car. That would be great for the people at
Honeywell. They are really waiting for us to put their car in the
winner's circle."

McClenathan knows that for the FRAM AirHog to go to the winner's circle,
the Carrier Boyz Racing team must put behind them early round set backs.

"It seems that we've come up to different circumstances on Sunday than
during qualifying," reflected the Lake Havasu City, Ariz., driver. "We
are qualifying well and need to find a way for this FRAM AirHog to be
just as consistent on Sunday as we are during qualifying. If we can do
that, we'll go a lot more rounds."

With temperatures predicted in the high 90s this weekend, it will be a
tricky track for McClenathan, crew chief Todd Smith and clutch
specialist Bob Bauer.

"The heat definitely affects the way the race car runs and how hard we
can push it. We'll back the tune up down and try to run some easy
numbers the first pass. From there we can begin to step it back up. It
going to flat out hot and humid and we're just going to have to be more
careful with both the engine and clutch set up," said McClenathan.

Entering the O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals, McClenathan is No. 9 in the
NHRA POWERade Top Fuel point standings.
