Crosby begins promotional appearances
 

Eddyville, Ky. –  Kim Crosby will make the first of several in-store appearances at Wal-Mart locations on Thursday, August 18,  at store # 3476 in Canton, Mich. 

Crosby, who drives the #26 Vassarette Chevrolet on the Nascar Busch Series, will available from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. to interact with employees and fans and sign autographs at the store, located at 39500 Ford Road.

“I’ve been looking forward to this for a while,” said Crosby. “I love meeting fans and to be able to do that while representing Vassarette in a store like Wal-Mart is exciting. I know a lot of race fans shop at Wal-Mart and I can’t wait to meet them.”

The in-store appearances are being organized by Vassarette as part of their marketing effort featuring Kim Crosby. In all, Crosby will make eight in-store appearances over the rest of the 2005 season.

“We are excited about being able to put this together,” said Miles Bohannan, director of marketing for Vassarette. “Nobody is more passionate about their sport than Nascar fans and we expect to see a large number of them at the store on Thursday.” 

            Crosby will also make a number of media appearances, including taping a television interview with WXYZ – TV and a radio interview with WKHM – AM.
