Oshkosh Truck Appoints Michael Crowe President of Asia Operations; Names Wilson Jones Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Airport Products
OSHKOSH, Wis.--Aug. 1, 20055, 2005--Oshkosh Truck Corporation , a leading manufacturer of specialty trucks and truck bodies, has promoted Michael Crowe to the newly created position of president for Asia operations. This position has overall responsibility for business development, distribution and market strategy related to Asian markets, particularly China. Crowe, previously vice president of sales and marketing for airport products within the corporation's fire and emergency business, has held positions of increasing responsibility within Oshkosh Truck since 1978. He holds a B.A. in management and communication from Concordia University in Wisconsin.Robert G. Wilson Jones has almost 20 years of management experience in the fire and emergency and bus industries, encompassing all aspects of sales, marketing and operations. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Akron Brass Company, an industry leader in firefighting equipment. Prior to that, Jones was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Emergency One, a manufacturer of fire and emergency vehicles. Jones holds a B.A. in business administration from North Texas State University and succeeds Michael Crowe in this position.
