2 TO GO IN WYSONG-WATERS POINT BATTLE
MURGOITIO GRABS ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPRINT 40-LAPPER

Two races remain in the 2005 USAC/SLVRA Young Automotive
Group Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series and drivers Jimmy Wysong and Jim
Waters are separated by 32 points heading into a Sept. 5 race at Rocky
Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah.

USAC Western Sprint Car veteran Mike Murgoitio of Meridian,
Idaho dropped in on the party Sunday night and walked off with the 40-lap
victory at the 3/8-mile paved Salt Lake oval, leading the final 34 laps
after passing Kenny Hamilton on lap seven. Waters finished second, just
ahead of Wysong, Dave Fitzgerald and Rick Pardee.

Wysong was Sunday's fastest qualifier, but Waters and
Fitzgerald won the heat races.

The series is slated for conclusion on Sept. 19 at the Salt
Lake City track.
