USA Truck Announces Follow-On Public Offering of Its Common Stock at $25.00 Per Share

VAN BUREN, Ark.--Aug. 1, 20051, 2005--USA Truck, Inc. announced today that it has priced the follow-on public offering of its common stock at a price of $25.00 per share. The offering consists of 3,000,000 shares, including 2,000,000 shares offered by the Company and 1,000,000 shares offered by selling stockholders, which include Robert M. Powell, Chairman and CEO, Jerry D. Orler, President, and Mr. Orler's spouse. In addition, Mr. Powell has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. A.G. Edwards is the lead manager of the offering and Stephens Inc., BB&T Capital Markets and Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. are co-managers.
