USAC ANNOUNCES TRIPLEHEADER DURING PRI WEEKEND AT ORLANDO

INDIANAPOLIS – USAC will sanction a tripleheader during the Performance
Racing Industry Trade Show weekend Dec. 1-2 in Orlando, Fla., a two-day
non-points affair with three of its top series.

The Valvoline National Sprint Car Series, National Midget Car Series and
Ford Focus Midget Car Series will all be in action at the Orlando Speed
World Raceway 3/8-mile paved oval, with practice, qualifying and heats
scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 1 and racing set for Friday, Dec. 2.

Performance Racing Entertainment, the promoter of the event, will pay $4,000
to the winner of the 40-lap Sprint car feature, $2,500 to the victor of the
40-lap National Midget feature and $750 to the 20-lap Ford Focus winner. In
addition, any driver to win both the Sprint and Midget feature will earn a
$50,000 bonus from Mopar. The driver winning the Midget feature must start
last in the Sprint car feature to be eligible for the bonus.

Other money prizes will be offered based on qualifying, positions per lap
and participation.

“With Florida’s famous weather in December, we’ll be able to offer a
spectacular night of frantic, wheel-to-wheel USAC Sprint and Midget racing
action for all of our exhibitors and attendees on Friday night,” said Steve
Lewis, the PRI Trade Show producer. “In turn, they’ll be able to mix and
mingle with thousands of their industry friends at the racetrack.”
