Woodward Dream Cruise Begins Media Registration

Media registration is now being processed for the 2005 Woodward Dream Cruise. Registered media guests can enjoy the hospitality and amenities offered in the centrally located Woodward Dream Cruise media center at Memorial Park in Royal Oak, on the northeast corner of 13 Mile and Woodward, including:

  *  Air conditioning
  *  Wireless Internet connection
  *  A rooftop observation deck
  *  Food and refreshments
  *  Easy access to restroom facilities

The media center will be open Saturday, August 20 from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Six shuttles will run continuously from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday between Eaton and the media center. Parking for media is available at Eaton on the corner of the Northwestern Highway service drive and Civic Center Drive in Southfield.

The Dream Cruise celebrates the heydays of the fifties and sixties when Woodward was the heart and soul of American cruising in the city that put America on wheels.
