Jorge Goeters’ thoughts about driving the #32 Braun Racing Chevy:
“Since the race in Mexico earlier this year, I have been looking forward to
competing in another NASCAR Busch Series road race. I experienced a
tremendous amount of success with the #66 Brewco team in Mexico, and I am looking
forward to having the opportunity to drive the #32 Braun Racing car at Watkins
Glen. I hope to be able to capture another pole position and to lead laps, but
this time I really want to win the race. I know that Braun Racing has a very
good road course car prepared for me and the team did well in Mexico
finishing fourth, so hopefully we will have a very successful weekend that ends in
victory lane.??
Jorge Goeters’ thoughts about Watkins Glen International:
“I am very excited to be back in the #32 Braun Racing car for the race at
Watkins Glen. I learned so much about the car when I drove it a few weeks ago
at Pikes Peak. Every chance that I have to make laps in a Busch car allows me
to gain the experience that I need to get faster. These cars are very
different from the stock cars that I drive in Mexico, so I am learning all the
time. Brewco Motorsports allowed me the opportunity to test with them a few weeks
ago at Watkins Glen, and I have been asked to compete in the Grand Am race
on Friday before the Busch Series event, so I will be very familiar with the
track before the race. The Braun Racing team has been great to work with and I
think that together we will be a threat to win this weekend.??
