Armor Holdings, Inc. Receives Additional $21 Million Order for Up-Armored HMMWV
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 5, 2005 -- Armor Holdings, Inc. , a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems serving military, law enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced today that it has received a $21 million contract award from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command to provide additional M1114 Up-Armored HMMWVs. The Company indicated that this award will increase backlog in 2006, and that all armored vehicles purchased under this order will be delivered to the United States Army. Work will be completed by Armor Holdings' Aerospace and Defense Group facilities located in Fairfield, Ohio.
