NHRA2DAY TO AIR THIS SUNDAY FROM DON SCHUMACHER RACING SHOP IN BROWNSBURG,
IND.
BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Aug. 3, 2005) - NHRA2Day will air from the Don Schumacher
Racing facility in Brownsburg, Ind., on Sunday, Aug. 7, at 11:30 a.m. ET on
ESPN2.
The 100,000-sq. ft. facility (70,000 sq. ft. of which houses seven of the
nine Don Schumacher Racing NHRA teams) opened its doors in March of 2005,
and is the latest state-of-the-art race garage for some of the nation's top
drag-racing teams, including:
* Matco Tools Iron Eagle Dodge Stratus Funny Car driven by Whit Bazemore
* Mopar/Oakley Dodge Stratus Funny Car driven by Gary Scelzi
* Brut Dodge Stratus Funny Car driven by Ron Capps
* U.S. Army Top Fuel Dragster driven by Tony Schumacher
* Skull Gear/Torco Race Fuels Top Fuel Dragster driven by Melanie Troxel
* U.S. Army Pro Stock Motorcycles ridden by Angelle Sampey and Antron Brown
NHRA2Day host Marty Reid will interview DSR pilots Melanie Troxel and Antron
Brown, as well as Funny Car crew chiefs (TBA) and provide a tour of the
facility.
