Chevy Day at the Brickyard Announces Consumer Autograph Sessions and Entertainment Lineup

Indianapolis – Chevrolet and Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced this week the musical line-up and autograph session schedule for Chevy Day at the Brickyard, August 5. The NASCAR® festival planned in conjunction with the activities at Indianapolis Motor Speedway will close a morning full of driver appearances, test drives with a concert by Country & Western star, Chris Cagle

Cagle is scheduled to perform at 11:45 a.m. Friday, August 5 on the Chevy Stage. The Texas artist will perform hits from his self-titled CD Chris Cagle. Released in 2003, Cagle enjoyed success with hits like “My Love Goes On and On,” “ Laredo” and I Breath In, I Breathe Out.” In 2004, he won the inaugural fan-voted CMT Flameworthy “Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award.”

Autograph Sessions:

Chevrolet Nextel Cup drivers will appear for thirty minute autograph sessions throughout the morning. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. NEXTEL Cup and Busch drivers will be grouped for these sessions.

The first 100 consumers in line for each session will receive a colored wristband for the specified session. Consumers are not limited to just one wristband but must stand in line at each autograph session corral. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. and consumers must be 18 years or older. Wristbands will be handed out while supplies last and drivers are subject to change.

Chevy Day at the Brickyard is a consumer event for practice session ticket holders, Friday, August 5 from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Consumers can experience the thrills of NASCAR® through interactive tours, see their favorite Chevy drivers in autograph sessions or race one of the Chevy Monte Carlos at the remote control track. A limited number of fans who complete a Chevy Test Drive at a participating Central Indiana Dealer will be eligible to take a “Hot Lap” with a Chevy NASCAR® driver on the track*.

*Test Drives must be completed between July 17 & August 4 at a participating central Indiana Chevy Dealer. Offer valid while supplies last. Each voucher is good for one “Hot Lap” voucher and two entry tickets to the event and Friday’s practices session.
