Brookshire Grocery Co. Selects FuelQuest FMS to Automate Fuel Management Operations at Grocery Store Gasoline Centers
An Expanding Grocery Store Operator and Gasoline Provider Becomes the Latest to Select FuelQuest's FMS Software to Meet Their Complicated Supply Chain Needs
HOUSTON, July 27 -- Brookshire Grocery Company selects FuelQuest's Fuel Management System (FMS) to automate their fuel operations.
FuelQuest will deliver an end to end solution for Brookshire's expanding gasoline center business. A key factor in Brookshire's selection was FuelQuest's excellence in integration. Not only does FuelQuest work with Brookshire's ERP system, SAP (FuelQuest is a certified SAP integration partner), but also integrates seamlessly with Veeder-Root, Brookshire's automatic tank gauge vendor.
"By selecting FuelQuest's FMS we now have the flexibility to effectively manage numerous supply choices and transportation options," said Greg Nordyke, Vice President, Transportation and Fuel Services. "Through strategic sourcing, we plan to drive down our inventory, procurement and transportation costs while increasing our flexibility and scalability. We believe FuelQuest has the state of the art technology and industry expertise to drive value throughout our entire fuel supply chain. Their knowledge of the fuel business set them apart from other technology providers."
Doug Haugh, FuelQuest COO said, "We are proud to have such a progressive and forward thinking customer as Brookshire Grocery Company. Our goal is to provide the same level of exceptional customer service to Brookshire's as they have been providing their customers for the past 77 years."
FMS begins with remote tank monitoring of inventory levels, proceeds through demand forecasting, auto replenishment, dispatch, delivery and finishes with back office reconciliation and taxes.
