RouteOne Canada Adds RBC Royal Bank to Its Credit Application Service for Auto Dealers

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. and TORONTO, July 27 -- RouteOne Canada, a joint venture undertaken by DaimlerChrysler Services, Ford Motor Credit Company and General Motors Acceptance Corporation, announced today that it will add RBC Royal Bank to its web-based credit application management system. The move will make it easier for automotive dealers to submit credit applications to RBC, which is a major lender in Canada's indirect automotive finance market.

"RouteOne was designed to accelerate the automotive finance process by providing automobile dealers with a simple and efficient way to submit credit applications to multiple finance sources," says Barry McMillan, president, RouteOne Canada. "By adding RBC to the system, we will provide improved reach to dealers throughout the country. We are proud to welcome them aboard."

RouteOne is unique in that it connects automotive dealers across Canada with their captive finance source as well as many other indirect lenders through a single point of access.

"A good percentage of RBC's dealer customer base will have access to RouteOne," said George Steinsky, RBC's senior manager Strategy and Business Development, Specialized Financing Products. "We're very pleased with this agreement because it's going to provide dealers with another way to quickly and efficiently activate and access financing with RBC."

RouteOne Canada is headquartered in Markham, Ontario. For more information, log on to http://www.routeone.com/ .
