Madico Expands Designer Products Series with Decolite(TM) Plus; Decorative Window Films Create Effect of Etched Glass

WOBURN, Mass.--July 26, 2005--Madico Inc., one of the world's largest manufacturers of advanced glass films for safety, solar control and decorative applications, today announced it has expanded its line of designer films to include the new Decolite(TM) Plus series. Decolite films allow architects and interior designers to convert existing glass into a functional design element quickly and cost effectively.

Decolite Plus adds six new styles to Madico's designer film palette. The new, privacy-enhancing materials include etched designs, brushed and marbled textures, as well as contemporary striped patterns. The original Decolite series features checkered, striped and geometric shapes as well as view-obscuring solids.

Through its extensive dealer network, Madico has installed the retrofit material in hundreds of corporate offices, universities, museums, retail stores, hotels, hospitals and private residences around the world. Beyond enhancing aesthetics and increasing privacy, Decolite and Decolite Plus also improve glass safety, reject harmful ultraviolet rays, and reduce glare. The rugged films are also easy to maintain. Only soap and water or common commercial cleaners are required to keep the material looking and performing properly.

Decolite plus is available immediately from Madico and GlassFilm Enterprises. Depending on the design, pricing ranges from $10 to $15 per square foot, installed, versus $125 per square foot for etched glass.
