CAROLINA/VIRGINIA FOCUS MIDGETS RETURN TO TRACK THIS WEEKEND

Fresh off a three-week break from action, the USAC Carolina/Virginia Ford
Focus Midget Car Series returns to the track Friday at Tri-County Motor
Speedway in Hudson, N.C. as the midpoint of the 2005 season passes.

Chase Scott leads the series standings following the three-week hiatus. He
tops the points by 52 over Robbie Ray. Both drivers competed in the combined
Midwest-Carolina/Virginia race two weeks ago at Kentucky Speedway.

Scott won the last race at Tri-County on May 6, taking the points lead in
which he has not since relinquished.
