REMINDER: NHRA Luncheon on Wednesday
FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals
PRESS LUNCHEON
You are invited to the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals press luncheon on
Wednesday, July 27, at McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant in
picturesque Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco. The event is held in
advance of the race weekend, July 29-31, at Infineon Raceway.
WHO: --Greg Anderson (Summit Racing Pontiac GTO): Two-time and
defending Pro Stock world champion. He was the first-ever Pro Stock
driver to sweep the West Coast Swing (2003) with wins in Denver, Seattle
and Sonoma.
--David Baca (Baca Motorsports Dragster): Local driver from Brentwood.
Was runner-up at Infineon Raceway in 2003 and top qualifier at U.S.
Nationals in 2003.
--Ron Capps (Brut Dodge Stratus): He won at Infineon Raceway in 1997 and
was runner-up in 2002.
--Robert Hight (Auto Club Ford Mustang): He is currently leading the
points for the NHRA's top rookie award in 2005 and is the son-in-law of
legendary driver John Force.
--Cory McClenathan (FRAM AirHog Dragster): Has 28 career victories,
including 1997 at Infineon Raceway. Four runner-up efforts in the chase
for the NHRA Top Fuel championship.
--Karen Stoffer (Geico Suzuki): She is one of seven women to earn a
professional category victory in NHRA history.
