Riverside Motorsports Park Sponsors San Jose Grand Prix Trans-Am Entries

ATWATER, Calif.--July 25, 2005--Riverside Motorsports Park, LLC (www.RMPracing.com), developer of a new, world-class motorsports facility in California's Merced County, has entered two GT America (GTA) stock cars in the upcoming Cytomax Sport Drink 100 Trans-Am Race, which is part of the Taylor Woodrow San Jose Grand Prix, July 29, 30, and 31, 2005, in San Jose, Calif. Team drivers are Tim Barber, current 2005 Trans-Am GTA Class points leader, and John Condren, chief executive officer of Riverside Motorsports Park. Barber will be driving the #98 Riverside Motorsports Park Ford Taurus, and Condren will pilot the #31 Riverside Motorsports Park Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The Riverside Motorsports Park racing team also includes company co-founder, John Nolind, as technical director and crew chief.

In addition to his Trans-Am Series racing, Tim Barber (San Francisco, Calif.) is the 2003 Fran-Am Champion, 2001 GTA Series Champion, and the winner of multiple races in the USAC Western States Sprint Car series over the last two years. John Condren (Morgan Hill, Calif.) is a 30-year road racing veteran, with various sports car, open-wheel formula and endurance races and championships to his credit. John Nolind (Oroville, Calif.), also a 30-year racing veteran, has won off-road motorcycle and truck races as a driver, and achieved various sports car and stock car championships as team owner and crew chief.

Riverside Motorsports Park's GT America stock car entries are part of a 4-car GTA team owned by Condren, Nolind, Jeanne Harper and Raquel Nolind. A third Riverside Motorsports Park car, competing in the Taylor Woodrow San Jose Grand Prix's Trans-Am race under a single-race contract, will be the team's #96 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Tim Spurgenon (Hayward, Calif.). The Cytomax Sport Drink 100 is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, at 4:00 p.m. PDT. It will air on SPEED Television on August 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
