SWANSON'S LEAD OVER HUNT NOW 12
WESTERN SPRINTS IDLE UNTIL STOCKTON AUGUST 27

             Kody Swanson was Saturday night's fastest qualifier at Rocky 
Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah, then finished fifth in the 
40-lap feature event to take the Western Sprint Car point lead over Tony 
Hunt to 12 points going into an August 27 race at Stockton 99 Speedway.

             Young Automotive Group USAC/SLVRA Rocky Mountain Sprint Car 
point leader Jimmy Wysong won Saturday night's race over Mike Murgoitio, 
Dave Fitzgerald, Todd Ellison and Swanson, with Hunt 12th.

             Ellison led the first seven laps of the race, then yielded to 
Wysong, who has now won three straight races at Rocky Mountain Raceways.
