Franchitti to Start Eighth in ArcaEx Car at Milwaukee

West Allis, Wis. (July 23, 2005) - Dario Franchitti recorded a lap of 166.620 miles per hour
(21.9302 seconds) in the #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone during qualifying at The Milwaukee Mile
and will start from the eighth position for Sunday's running of the Indy Racing LeagueŽ IndyCarŽ Series

The 10th event of the 2005 IndyCar Series season is set to go green at 2:45 p.m. (EDT) Sunday
with ESPN providing live broadcast coverage of the 225-lap event beginning at 2:30 p.m. (EDT).
Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone:
"I'm not very happy with our qualifying effort. We dropped three-tenths from what we ran this
morning and the balance to the car wasn't very good. The car just wasn't very quick. I know the ArcaEx
team will do everything they can to get to where we need to be for tomorrow's race."
