Force Teleconference playback

Dear racing media:
 
The NHRA hosted a teleconference with John Force, his daughter Ashley
and his wife Laurie Wednesday July 20. 
 
The teleconference lasted 56 minutes and a variety of subjects were
covered, spanning John's career from the time he couldn't afford to pay
his rent to now when he has become the all-time winningest driver in
NHRA history and is financing Team Force, which includes Funny Car
points leader Robert Hight and Eric Medlen. He is also in the process of
developing his three youngest daughters (Ashley, Brittany and Courtney)
into drivers themselves. He talked at length about the future and
direction of the profile of the sport, which he said will skew younger
and more female.
 
Ashley also fielded several questions about her future in the sport and
Laurie answered questions about her feelings about having three of her
four daughters following daddy's footsteps.
