IOWA, WISCONSIN ROAD SWING UP NEXT FOR MIDWEST FOCUS CARS;
LAKEVILLE RAINED OUT
The USAC Midwest Ford Focus Midget Car Series returns to competition this
weekend in Iowa and Wisconsin following a rainout of last Friday’s scheduled
event at Lakeville, Ohio.
Tate Martz of Rushville, Ind. continues to lead the series points standings
heading into Friday’s race at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The series will travel Sunday to Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wis.
Martz has victories at both tracks. Stephanie Mockler of Westfield, Ind.
continues to run second in the series points standings.
Friday’s rained out event at Lakeville will not be rescheduled. Drivers will
attempt to hit that track again Sept. 23-24.
