Sonoma, Calif. July 16, 2005 Paul Bonaccorsi qualified 19th in the #7
GTO for Round Seven of the SCCA Pro SPEED World Challenge GT race at
Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California, July 15-17. The GT race runs
at 1:05pm today as part of the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma
Presented by Ravenswood in conjunction with the American Le Mans Series.

“I’m having a great time,” said Bonaccorsi. “The power in these GT
cars is amazing. I’m carefully bringing myself up-to-speed and Stu’s
been a huge help in helping me bring down my times. Getting the feel
of how to let these cars roll and use the momentum is the big trick.”

“I’m ok with my starting position,” Paul continued. “The standing
start is pretty tricky, so I don’t mind being a bit further back.
Once things get sorted it out, we’ll work our way up… I’m fairly
confident we can give the #7 a good showing.

This weekends schedule calls for the SPEED GT race to run today at

races will air Sunday, July 17th on PEE with the GT race at 1:30pm
the Touring Car race at 6pm. All times are EST.
