United Road Purchases Grace Intermodal Assets

ROMULUS, Mich., July 14 -- Leading North American auto hauler United Road has purchased the carrier assets of Tennessee based, Grace Intermodal. The acquired company provides vehicles delivery throughout the Midwest, Southeast and mid Atlantic regions for various OEM manufacturers and automobile remarketers from terminal locations in Elwood, Illinois and Montgomery, Alabama.

United Road is the nation's 74th largest vehicle shipper and it is among the top 3 providers of vehicle logistics in the country.
