Inside the Oval at New Hampshire International Speedway
*      Nextel Wake-Up Call
On Friday, July 15, at 11:00 a.m. EDT, the Nextel Wake-Up Call will host Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 97 Sharpie/IRWIN Tools Ford, and the 2004 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Champion. Busch, who won last year's event here in Loudon, will be available for questions by media in attendance. Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. in the media center.
*New addition to the Nextel Wake-Up Call. If you would like to receive audio of the Nextel Wake-Up Call via email, please send your request to Crystal Carraway   as soon as possible.
*      Coffee with Carl Edwards
New Hampshire International Speedway will host Carl Edwards in the media center at 8:30 a.m. on Friday for questions by the media.
*      Nextel Leader Bonus         $70,000 
With Jimmie Johnson leading the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series point standing, the No. 48 team could possibly take home the $70,000 Nextel Leader Bonus if they take the checkered flag on Sunday.

*      Nextel and Sunoco team up to offer fans the chance to win $250,000 and a tanker of quality Sunoco gasoline

Starting July 1, Nextel, in partnership with Sunoco, the official fuel of NASCAR, is conducting a sweepstakes that will ultimately award $250,000 and a full tanker of gasoline to one lucky fan that enters the contest and correctly forecasts the 2005 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion. On June 23, Sprint and Nextel announced details surrounding the brand strategy and logo to be used upon completion of the companies' merger, expected in the third quarter of 2005, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals. Community Outreach

*      Kyle Petty Charity Ride To Roll Out on July 23 from Oswego, Oregon
The wheels will be set in motion on July 23 as the Kyle Petty Charity Ride begins its cross-country trek to raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp. With nearly 250 participants motoring their 'hogs' through cities such as Boise, ID, Cody, WY and Nashville, TN, organizers of the Kyle Petty Charity Ride expect a major turnout as these areas enjoy the presence of NASCAR. *      Victory Junction Gang Camp 
Nextel is heavily involved with The Victory Junction Gang Camp, a sleep-away camp for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Nextel has committed more than $1 million to the camp, as well as products and services, including the construction of a cell site to ensure staff, campers and their families can stay in touch. *      Donate A Phone
Through the Donate A Phone program, Nextel continues to collect used phones, from any manufacturer, for the American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services program.  Collections for 2005 should exceed $1 million. You can help by donating used cell phones for the program, which helps military families stay in contact when faced with crisis situations. Phones can be donated at Nextel kiosks around the track or at The Nextel Experience.
