Honda to terminate production of NSX luxury sports car

TOKYO July 12, 2005; Japan Today reported that Honda Motor Co said Tuesday it will terminate production of the NSX luxury sports car in December and will develop a new sports car.

The present NSX may fail to meet tougher environmental regulations that Europe and the United States will introduce in 2006, while remodeling of the NSX will be costly, Honda said. (Kyodo News)
