SBORO LEADS NORTHEAST FORD FOCUS MIDGETS TO SEEKONK AFTER WIN AT OSWEGO

Michael Sboro of Watertown, N.Y. won Saturday night’s USAC Northeast Ford
Focus Midget Car Series at Oswego (N.Y.) Speedway and gained the points lead
in the process.

Sboro, driving the No. 24 Dealmaker Auto Group/Fast Lube of Water Beast, led
the final 21 laps to beat Nick Wean, early leader Jeff Abold, season opening
winner Ryan Smith and Stephanie Stevens, who led the series standings
heading into the evening. Abold led the first four laps before Sboro took
control.

Sboro, also a regular on the Carolina/Virginia Ford Focus Midget Car Series
tour, leads Stevens by seven points heading into the July 20 race at Seekonk
Speedway in Seekonk, Mass.
