Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels
kicks off second half of season this weekend at Hamilton
Championship chases enter stretch run this weekend

HAMILTON, ONTARIO The fourth round of the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting
Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels is set for this weekend at
Cameron Motorsports Park, on Highway 6 in Hamilton Ontario. It is a pivotal
round, as championship contenders are all planning their stretch runs in an
attempt to seal their championships.

No championship is closer than Canada Junior where Gold Kart's Michael Di
Meo currently leads Sodi Kart's Greg Rempel by just two points through
three rounds, 224-222. DiMeo has improved each round going fifth, third,
and winning the Pepsi Grand Prix of Barrie while Rempel sandwiched a win at
Sutton with fourth place finishes at both Goodwood and Barrie.
Firstkart.com's Kevin Monteith is very much in the hunt at 207, while
Birel's Kenny Riedmann sits fourth at 178.

The Series' headline class is nearly as close as CRG's Robert Wickens' win
and pole from Barrie put him three points up on firstkart.com's Daniel
Morad in Formula Senior. Wickens' two poles, two seconds, and Barrie win
amount to 280 points while Morad's total stems from wins at Goodwood and
Sutton, a Goodwood pole, and third from the Barrie GP.

In World Formula Junior, Jeffrey May has a ten point margin on Scott
Laporte after winning the Barrie Grand Prix, 199-189. Josh Korenyi sits
third at 182 after a win at Goodwood, third at Sutton, and scoring pole at
Barrie before having his helmet visor knocked off. He will be looking to
reclaim top spot in Hamilton.

Canada Senior's Darryl Timmers leads the championship for Gold Kart at 224
after winning at Goodwood and following with a fifth and third. His margin
is 17 points, but the field is chasing: Marco DiLeo, 207; Aaron de Heus,
198; Pearce Herder, 165; and Dave Patrick 147.

Defending champion DiLeo also leads Rotax Max Senior for CRG where his 237
points has created a gap of 60 points on the field. Devin Cunningham's pole
and win at Barrie moved him into second for SH Karting/Tonykart at 177,
while firstkart.com.s Eric Gerrits has 175 points. Kyle and Pearce Herder
follow for Gold at 157 and 144 respectively, while CMP's Frank Launi has
133 points.

The biggest championship margin through three rounds is Cameron Motorsports
CRG's Michael Vincec in Rotax Max Junior. Winning from pole at both
Goodwood and Sutton and adding a third at Barrie have created a 98-point
cushion to firstkart.com's Kevin Monteith. Ohter points leaders heading to
round four are: Adriano Bilotta in World Formula Senior, Maxime Pelletier
in Formula Junior, and Reid Arnold in Canada Junior Light.

Formula Junior kicks off a five race schedule on Saturday at 1:35. Its 30
lap feature will be followed by Canada Junior Light, Rotax Max Junior,
World Formula Junior and Canada Senior. On Sunday Formula Senior begins the
feature rotation at the same time, and will be followed by World Formula
Senior, Rotax Max Senior, and Canada Junior
