Leffler about driving the #32 WINFUEL Chevy in the Winn-Dixie 250 at
Daytona:
“It really felt good to get back in a Busch car and be able to run up front
all night. The Braun Racing guys really gave me a good car all weekend. The
#32 WINFUEL Chevy was fast right off the truck and we just made some small
changes to try and make it better. After the season that I’ve had, it was a good
confidence builder to be able to run in the top-five or ten all night,
especially in my first race with the team. I’m looking forward to building more
chemistry with Todd Lohse and the rest of the WINFUEL team as I run more races
for Braun Racing throughout the end of this season.??
Leffler’s thoughts on Chicagoland Speedway:
"I have only run one Busch race at Chicago, and that was last year when I
finished 7th. I didn’t qualify as well as I wanted to last year, so I had to
start 20th and work my way to the front. Hopefully this year I can improve my
starting spot and put the WINFUEL Chevy in a good position to start the race.
I like racing at Chicagoland and I look forward to going back there this
weekend. I know that the Braun Racing guys have prepared a fast car for me, so
were going to try and continue to build on the momentum that we started last
weekend at Daytona where we finished 9th.??
Todd Braun’s thoughts on having Leffler behind the wheel of the #32 WINFUEL
Chevy:
"Jason did a really good job for us last weekend at Daytona, especially
since it was his first time in our car. Running up front all night and being
around at the end to compete for a spot in the top-10 was good motivation for our
entire team. We know our equipment is good enough to compete for wins and
Jason showed that he is going to be a factor whenever he is in the WINFUEL Chevy
the rest of the season.??
