Crosby finishes 28th in Winn-Dixie 250

  
 

Daytona Beach, Fl. – Kim Crosby finished 28th behind the wheel of the BMAR Support Our Troops Chevrolet in the Winn-Dixie 250 at Daytona International Speedway on Friday. 

          In Crosby’s first race in three months and just her third race this season, she battled through a tight-handling car early and made up several positions late in the race.   

          “Racing Daytona is an incredible experience,” said Crosby. “The BMAR Chevrolet ran well and once we made a few adjustments we were really able to pick up some speed. The crew did a great job bringing the car in during the race.”

          “Kim showed us a lot tonight,” said Wayne Hatfield, crew chief. “To go three months without racing and then jump behind the wheel at Daytona is no small accomplishment.”

          Crosby will return to action next week at Chicagoland Speedway.
