Best Jetta Month in a Year

All-New Jetta Sales Up 33% From May 20, 200505

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 1 -- Volkswagen of America, Inc. reported June sales of 19,071. Significant in the overall results was the continued sales growth of the all-new Jetta. Increased availability of model, engine, and transmission choices within the Jetta line up offers customers a broader selection resulting in the continued increase of monthly sales. "We are strongly encouraged by the success of the new Jetta thus far in North America," said Len Hunt, Executive Vice President, Volkswagen of America, Inc.

The current sell down of the New Beetle, Golf and Passat models will allow for an orderly transition to the new generation of these vehicles when launched later in 2005 and 2006.
