Subaru Reports 2005 Record June Sales
CHERRY HILL, N.J., July 1 -- Subaru of America, Inc. today reported best-ever June sales totaling 17,946 units, showing an increase of 11 percent for the month, over the same period last year. Total sales are up six percent year-to-date.

"Subaru continues to break sales records with an all-time best June," said Fred Adcock, executive vice president, Subaru of America, Inc. "We are particularly pleased with the results of the first full month of sales for the Subaru B9 Tribeca. We expect to see sales of this new progressive SUV continue to rise as national advertising for the vehicle breaks the week of July 11."
The all-new Subaru B9 Tribeca posted 1,540 units for the month of June. The Legacy model line recorded 8,830 units for the month, up 5 percent from last year; with Subaru Legacy Sedan sales up an impressive 54 percent. Subaru Outback posted a strong 6,087 units for June, while Subaru Forester posted 4,114 units. The Impreza line was up 13 percent over the same period last year with 2,971 unit sales, and the Subaru Baja recorded sales of 491 units for the month.
