Fedewa to Run MIKE AND IKE(R) TANGY TWISTER(TM) No. 12 Dodge Charger at Daytona International Speedway

BETHLEHEM, Pa., June 30 -- Candy maker Just Born, Inc. is pleased to announce that MIKE AND IKE(R) TANGY TWISTER(TM) candy will make a colorful splash this weekend with a special paint scheme racecar in Daytona Beach. Tim Fedewa will be the driver of the No. 12 Dodge Charger at the Winn- Dixie 250 presented by PepsiCo at Daytona International Speedway.

"Last summer we ran the neon green MIKE AND IKE(R) Original Fruits(TM) candy paint scheme on the No. 12 car and received a lot of attention," said driver Tim Fedewa. "Everyone liked that paint scheme and will hopefully be delighted to see yet another bright MIKE AND IKE(R) car once again in Daytona."

MIKE AND IKE(R) Original Fruits candies were introduced in 1940 and have expanded over the years with different flavor varieties. Exciting new MIKE AND IKE(R) TANGY TWISTER(TM) features cherry, raspberry, citrus punch, pineapple, and apple with a high intensity flavor twist. Each flavor is a virtual chewing phenomenon with real fruit juice flavor squeezed into each candy piece.

"MIKE AND IKE(R) TANGY TWISTER(TM) flavor candy was launched in January," said Doreen Perini, Group Brand Manager for Just Born, Inc. "Comments from our consumers who tried the new flavors are very positive. Showcasing MIKE AND IKE(R) TANGY TWISTER(TM) on the No. 12 car under the lights at Daytona this week is a great venue to bring more attention to the MIKE AND IKE(R) brand and its newest flavor."

"Just Born, Inc. has been involved in NASCAR racing for many years," commented team owner Armando Fitz. "We are honored to be a part of its continued involvement in the sport. The unique and eye-catching MIKE AND IKE(R) paint schemes have become a fun and exciting tradition for our race team and fans."
