Dunlop Parade of Porsches Rolls Wednesday in Hershey, Pa.

HERSHEY, Pa., June 27 -- The Dunlop Parade of Porsches will roll again Wednesday to showcase the Porsche marque on a 10.2-mile parade route.

Once a staple at the Porsche Parade, the actual parade was discontinued for years, because of traffic congestion and other factors. Porsche Parade, a convention of Porsche owners who meet annually to compete in autocross and car shows, decided to return the parade for the 50th anniversary.

Dunlop Tire, is sponsoring the parade from downtown Hershey to the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum.

Andy Traicoff, director of the Dunlop brand in North America, said, "We are extremely pleased to sponsor the Parade of Porsches, a revival of a once annual event where people of all ages are able to enjoy the beauty and performance of these exquisite automobiles.

"We also look forward to our association with the ultimate enthusiast - the Porsche owner. We want them to know that the Porsche and Dunlop brands are all about performance."

Porsche owners will begin staging their cars at 5 p.m. for the single-file parade.
