Toyota to build new plant in Canada

NAGOYA June 26, 2005; Japan Today reported that Toyota Motor Corp has decided to build a new plant in Canada, its seventh in North America, to meet growing demand for its vehicles, company sources said Saturday.

Japan's largest automaker will make an announcement next Thursday in the Canadian province of Ontario, where the plant will be built, the sources said. (Kyodo News)
