Citation Corp. Promotes Geoffrey A. Bell to Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 24 -- Citation Corp. has announced the promotion of Geoffrey A. Bell to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Bell, 56, joined Citation in September 2000 as Treasurer and was promoted to Vice President and Treasurer in 2001. Prior to joining Citation, Bell, served for 12 years at Tyler Refrigeration Corp., a business unit of Carrier Corporation, where he held jobs as Manager of Manufacturing Accounting, Director of Finance, and Vice President and Treasurer, and CFO.

Bell, who was instrumental in Citation's successful emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May, is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where he earned bachelors degrees in mathematics and accounting.

Citation is a privately held corporation based in Birmingham, Ala., that produces high-quality cast, forged, and machined components for several market segments, including the automotive, heavy truck, construction, aerospace, agricultural and commercial industries.
