ESW Diesel Catalyst Approved For Application On European OEM Utility Vehicle

CONCORD, Ontario--June 23, 2005--Environmental Solutions Worldwide, Inc. (ESW) (OTCBB:ESWW) announced today that its proprietary high-performance Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) has been accepted by a major European Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as part of an approved diesel Particulate Matter (PM) reduction system.

PURI tech GmbH working with ESW's catalyst engineers have incorporated the Company's High Performance DOC into an innovative PM emissions control system. The complete system was designed specifically for first fit and retrofit applications on the manufacturer's diesel powered utility vehicles. The kit is designed to be installed by an authorized dealer as a direct replacement retrofit kit of the factory installed standard muffler and is also being made available as an OEM factory option.

ESW's proprietary catalyst was selected as a component for the development of the system due to the technologies associated high PM reductions and robust durability properties. The ESW catalyzed substrate provides the initial PM reductions and assists the overall system to reduce in excess of 90% of the engines PM output. Although the system was designed initially for vehicle applications with low engine temperature operating cycles, it provides optimum PM emission reductions at all engine operating temperatures.
