Aimbridge Attends Maryland Credit Union League's Annual Meeting and Convention; Indirect Auto Lender Shows Continued Dedication to Maryland/Virginia Market
DENVER--June 23, 2005--Aimbridge Indirect Lending, a subsidiary financing channel that connects credit unions with an automotive dealer network to provide members and potential members with automobile loans and leases, announced that it will attend the Maryland Credit Union League's (MDCUL) Annual Meeting and Convention on June 22-25, 2005 in Ocean City, MD. Aimbridge, in partnership with the Credit Union Auto Lending Network (CUALN), entered the Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia auto market in February of this year."Aimbridge is committed to addressing the needs of the credit unions in the Maryland market," said Ann Schmitt, COO of Aimbridge. "We cannot address those needs without taking every opportunity to get in front of the credit union executives in that market and asking them important questions. Our partnership with CUALN gives us great insight to the market and exhibiting with them at this show is a natural next step to really galvanizing our efforts in the area."
In an effort to offer Maryland-based credit unions better options and strategies for indirect auto lending programs, the pair plans to provide information on its indirect lending program as well as query credit union executives at the show about market deficiencies. The two organizations see their role at the show as helping define goals for offering the market focused and flexible technology designed to meet the needs of credit unions, dealers and members.
Aimbridge will also showcase its PowerBridge(R) technology offering. Introduced earlier this year, PowerBridge is a technology application that directly links a borrower's lending data with credit union core processing systems. PowerBridge transfers loan data in real time, packages it electronically and submits to the core processing system, thereby eliminating manual re-keying to reduce time, costs and human error. The tool also provides credit unions with member verification. When dealers send loan applications to credit unions, borrower information is automatically verified against the credit union's core system's database. From the database, credit unions receive useful borrower information, such as member status and loan and credit history, allowing them to make more informed decisions.
"PowerBridge is just one of the incredible technology tools Aimbridge leverages to help credit unions have successful indirect lending programs," said Ann Schmitt, COO of Aimbridge. "Aimbridge spent more than three and a half years developing PowerBridge in order to provide all indirect lending players a more automated and sophisticated workflow solution. Those are the benefits we bring to the Maryland market, as well as all of our partner credit unions throughout the nation."
MDCUL is a professional trade association representing Maryland's state-, community-, and federally-chartered credit unions. It is a network of more than 100 Maryland credit unions and provides information on issues impacting credit unions at a local level. Aimbridge and CUALN will exhibit at booth #26.
