This program keeps you on course via your Nextel phone with up-to-date information from the National Weather Service, current flight conditions and visibility. It also provides critical and timely information such as wind direction and speed, temperature and dew point. This program is easy to navigate for the novice pilot. The dual-jack headset design allows fans to simultaneously plug the headset into their scanner and wireless phone. It also includes a noise-canceling microphone, which enables fans to communicate on their wireless phone while listening to their scanner. Collections for 2005 should exceed $1 million. You can help by donating used cell phones for the program, which helps military families stay in contact when faced with crisis situations. Phones can be donated at Nextel kiosks around the track or at The Nextel Experience. * Victory Junction Gang Camp Nextel is heavily involved with The Victory Junction Gang Camp, a sleep-away camp for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
