Toyota in Europe Standardizes on WebTrends 7 On Demand To Drive Improved Web Results

LONDON & PORTLAND, Ore.--June 21, 2005--WebTrends Inc., the global web analytics leader, today announced that Toyota Motor Marketing Europe (TMME) has selected WebTrends(R) 7 On Demand to analyze visitor activity across all of its 16 language public web sites.

Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, TMME is using WebTrends 7 to evaluate the effectiveness of online campaigns, as well as to increase registrations for test drives and the number of brochures downloaded by identifying and optimizing drop off points and conversion detours on the site.

"With 16 different language web sites across Europe, web analysis is a critical part of our marketing evaluation. Working with WebTrends enables us to gauge the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and ultimately improve site conversion," said Benoit Boulanger, business consultant, TMME.

"More and more consumers are using the web as a decision-making tool when investigating new products," said Nick Sharp, EMEA sales and marketing director, WebTrends. "TMME is a perfect example of a company that recognizes the vital role its web site plays in the customer process and, as such, is investing in web analysis to optimize the role its web site plays in turning online visitors into customers."
