Circuit City Stores, Inc. Names Reginald D. Hedgebeth Senior Vice President and General Counsel
RICHMOND, Va., June 21 -- Circuit City Stores, Inc. today announced that Reginald D. Hedgebeth is joining the company as senior vice president and general counsel effective July 11, 2005.
Hedgebeth, 37, joins Circuit City from The Home Depot where he served most recently as Vice President - Legal. At The Home Depot, he managed a team of attorneys that supported retail stores, distribution facilities, non-retail affiliates, call centers and various corporate departments including procurement, finance and treasury, construction, maintenance and energy management, store operations, merchandising and global supply chain. Hedgebeth also supported The Home Depot's international divisions in Canada, Mexico and China. Prior to working at The Home Depot, he was an associate at King and Spalding, LLP and was a financial analyst for GE Capital Corporation based in Atlanta. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
