TASPRO Releases Stainless Clutch Hose for 94-97 Accords

Clutch Hose Upgrade Now Available From T.A.S. Auto Parts for 94-97 Honda Accords

STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn., June 21 -- T.A.S. Auto Parts is proud to introduce the most recent addition to its TASPRO brand of performance Honda Accord parts. TASPRO's new performance clutch hose for 94-97 4-Cyl. 5- Spd. Accords is made from braided stainless steel and runs between the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder. Each hose is D.O.T. approved, has a retail sale price of $34.95, and includes one steel braided hose assembly, plated steel fittings, banjo washers and a new attachment clip.

Stock 94-97 Honda Accords use a section of rubber hose to connect the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder. This rubber hose expands under pressure and causes inconsistent clutch engagement. TASPRO's new hose uses a Teflon inner hose construction and a tightly braided stainless steel outer wire. The steel braided unit will allow flexibility but will not expand like the factory rubber hose. "This upgrade significantly reduces clutch lever travel for very consistent clutch engagement and increased shifting performance, especially for those with performance clutches," said Justin Cote, lead product developer for T.A.S. Auto Parts. "The braided steel hose is also more durable and will last a lot longer than the factory rubber hose."
