(Phoenix, AZ – June 15, 2005) – Experience the excitement of drag racing and professional drifting on June 25, 2005 at the world renowned Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona with SCO Nights presented by Muscle Machines -Action Performance. Motor sports is Americas fastest growing spectator sport, however, enthusiasts don’t have many outlets through which they can express their love and support for the sport. SCO Nights incorporates youth culture elements and a sanctioned racing event to produce a stimulating and interactive environment for competitors, aficionados and spectators. Event elements include – a sanctioned drag racing event, no more dangerous late night duels and no running from the police, you could actually race them! Drifting and precision driving demonstrations throughout the night (8pm & 10pm) including ride-alongs around the Bondurant drift course with an instructor for a few lucky fans! A car show Presented by Showstopper Wax – SCO Show and Shine will give motor sports enthusiasts an outlet to express their creativity and originality through their vehicles with cash and prizes awarded in multiple categories. Entertainment will include a lifestyle zone presented by Circuit City and Tyco R/C complete with remote controlled cars and the latest youth lifestyle products. A video game zone presented by EB Games will showcase today’s hottest games and video game platforms. DJ’s provide the perfect backdrop for the event by spinning popular music by today’s top and rising artists and groups. Local radio stations 103.9 The Edge and 92.7 Energy Radio will have DJ’s broadcasting live from the event. Admission is $10 and for $7 more you can enter the Show and Shine or race all night!
