General Motors Honors EMC as a 2004 Supplier of the Year for Sixth Consecutive Year

In 2004, EMC Systems, Software and Services helped General Motors Reduce Costs by 20% and Maximize Information Availability

HOPKINTON, Mass., June 16 -- EMC Corporation, the world leader in information storage and management, today announced it was named as a General Motors Supplier of the Year for its overall business performance in providing GM with world-class products and services. In 2004, EMC software, systems and services enabled General Motors worldwide to reduce costs by 20% and maximize information availability.
