Renault Expands Use of Ariba Spend Management Solution

PARIS & SUNNYVALE, Calif.--June 15, 2005--Ariba(R), Inc. , the leading Spend Management solutions provider, today announced that Renault, one of the world's leading passenger car and light vehicle manufacturers, has entered into an agreement to expand its use of Ariba Spend Management solutions, including the latest version of the Ariba(R) Sourcing(TM) technology platform.

Renault has been using Ariba solutions for the past three years, initially through Covisint and FreeMarkets, realizing significant cost savings for both direct and indirect goods and services in France, Spain, Romania, Brazil and Turkey. The company required a solutions provider with a high level of development capabilities and the ability to support their business
