RAY TO DEFEND "BUCKEYE NATIONALS" TITLE IN LIMA, ELDORA MIDGETS FRIDAY & SATURDAY

             Davey Ray of Davenport, Iowa will defend his 2004 "Buckeye 
Nationals" title when the 2005 version of the USAC "Buckeye Nationals" 
unfolds this weekend at Lima and Rossburg, Ohio.

             Ray won last year's "Buckeye Nationals" feature at Limaland 
Motorsports Park, while Bobby East was the 2004 winner at Eldora Speedway 
in Rossburg.

             Josh Wise, last year's "Buckeye Nationals" Sprint winner at 
Lima, currently leads the National Midget Series standings, 48 points ahead 
of Teddy Beach, while defending National Champion East is third in points, 
just two behind Beach.

             A 30-lap feature is scheduled at Lima Friday, while a 
25-lapper is on tap at the 1/2-mile dirt Eldora oval Saturday. Each night's 
program includes both USAC National Midget and National Sprint racing.
