Nissan Releases Otti Mini-Vehicle

Tokyo Jun3e 10, 2005; (JCNN) Nissan put on sale the Otti, its third mini-vehicle model for the Japanese market. The Otti compact packaging, ingenious storage places and exceptional everyday driving ease. The mini-vehicle, available in 2WD and 4WD models, is OEM-supplied by Mitsubishi Motors.

In addition, all models achieve Japan's 2010 fuel economy standards plus an additional 5%, thereby qualifying for tax reductions under the Green Tax program in Japan.

Prices range from 955,500 yen ($9,000) to 1,495,200 yen ($14,000). Nissan is aiming to sell 3,000 units per month.
